Product details

Steel girders are mainly divided into section steel beams and composite beams.

Steel girders

Made of hot-rolled I-beam or channel steel (see hot-rolled steel), light beams such as purlins can also be cold-formed Z-shaped steel and channel steel (see cold-formed steel).

The section steel beam is simple to process and cheaper to manufacture, but the section size of the section steel is limited by certain specifications. When the load and span are large and the steel section cannot meet the strength, rigidity or stability requirements, composite beams are used.

Cross-section: hot-rolled I-beam, hot-rolled H-beam, thicker channel-web, and large steel consumption.

Cold-formed thin-walled steel-economical, but requires high corrosion resistance.

Features: simple structure, labor-saving manufacturing, low cost, preferred.

Structure steel girders

Structure steel girders formed by welding or riveting steel plate or section steel. The commonly used welded composite beams are I-shaped section and box-shaped section composed of upper and lower flange plates and webs.
